“Society of the Snow” is a vivid retelling of one of the most challenging survival stories. The film masterfully captures the desperation and bravery of the stranded rugby team. J. A. Bayona’s direction brings a respectful and humane perspective to this story, avoiding sensationalism and focusing on the psychological and emotional aspects of survival. Although challenging to watch, it’s an important story that honors the spirit of those who lived through this tragic event.
