“Inferno” is a visually engaging thriller that continues the intrigue of the Robert Langdon series. Critics note its fast-paced, action-packed narrative, though some argue the plot feels convoluted and the character development lacking. The movie shines in its scenic locales and Hans Zimmer’s score, with notable performances by the cast. However, its adherence to the formula of its predecessors has led to mixed or average reviews, with a Metacritic score reflecting a balance between enjoyment and critique of its depth and coherence.
