“I Still Know What You Did Last Summer” attempts to recapture the magic of its predecessor but unfortunately falls into the trap of many horror sequels. While the tropical Bahamas setting offered a unique twist, the plot sometimes felt forced, leading to predictable jump scares. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. reprised their roles with the same chemistry and intensity, but the story’s execution left something to be desired. For fans of the original, it’s a must-watch, but others might find it a typical late ’90s horror flick.”
