I was genuinely impressed by this unexpected addition to the universe. The energy that the young cast brings is electric, immediately establishing this rogue group of characters with vibrant chemistry. It truly shines when showcasing their individual criminal skills and how they function as a unit while executing their high-stakes mission. The world-building around the Continent’s criminal underbelly is rich and deeply satisfying. Dolph Lundgren’s appearance as the Witcher Brehen is an absolute standout; he delivers a magnetic performance that adds tremendous weight and excitement to the proceedings. The fight choreography is sharp and brutal, providing thrilling action sequences that fans of the franchise appreciate. We get a captivating look at the events leading up to their fateful meeting with Ciri, making their relationships and struggles much more meaningful. This special stands proudly on its own, showcasing strong production design and an exhilarating pace from start to finish. It is a fantastic surprise.
